Job Overview
Mitie is the UK's leading facilities management and professional services company, and we are looking to recruit for an exciting new position as Head of Unit in the Mitie Crime Fusion Cell. We are looking for an experienced professional to join us on a permanent basis. So, if you have previous experience in managing criminal intelligence and investigations, then we want to speak with you!
Main Duties
-Lead a team of intelligence professionals to understand the current trends and threats impacting our clients.
-Be accountable for the development and application of processes linked to data sharing agreements that support the delivery of timely intelligence products and effective investigations.
-Have responsibility for instigating investigations into identified offenders and offending.
-Identify new partnerships that will support the delivery of the Mitie Crime Management Strategy.
What we are looking for
Excellent report writing and analytical skills with sharp attention to detail.
Excellent understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its application within intelligence and investigation practices.
Experience in managing intelligence professionals
Experience in managing investigations and investigators
Possess a proven track record of effective liaison with police forces and partners.
Solid organisational skills with the ability to co-ordinate multiple priorities and achieve tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
