Are you looking to be part of improving the procurement system at a dynamic manufacturing company? Can you make a difference?
As a Buyer at Independent Forgings, whilst one day will never be the same as the next, on a typical day you might find yourself:
Supporting the Purchasing Manager with the setup and development of a centralised procurement function, developing policies, procedures, and controls for the procurement lifecycle.
Managing the purchase order process, including managing PO requisition process and expediting orders from suppliers
Generating reports from purchasing data to allow business decisions
Working alongside the sub contract coordinator to manage and expediate the sub contract requirements
What do you need to succeed at IFA?
You should enjoy making improvements to the procurement systems.
Get a buzz out of hitting our targets.
You are likely to have some experience at this type of role previously.
You will have great organisational and IT skills
You are likely to be qualified to A level standard or similar
