We are seeking an experienced and proactive Duty Manager to join our small hotel team. As Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the hotel's high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring all departments function efficiently.

Provide a warm, personalised service to all guests, handling queries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.

Supervise front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance person as required.

Monitor guest satisfaction and take corrective action when necessary to enhance the guest experience.

Conduct inspections of public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and safety.

Assist with staff training, motivation, and performance management to uphold service excellence.

Handle emergencies, incidents, and unusual occurrences, ensuring guest safety and effective resolution.

Maintain accurate shift reports and handover notes for management review.

Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role in a boutique or luxury hotel.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and make decisions independently.

Strong guest service orientation with attention to detail.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
