Title: Trade Counter Assistant / Van Driver Cat B The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Assistant / Primary Driver on behalf of our client based in Cramlington. This is a varied, customer-facing role split between serving on the trade counter and carrying out local deliveries. For the right candidate, this position could lead to a permanent opportunity.
The Role: Serving customers at the trade counter - processing orders, handling payments, and responding to enquiries Acting as the primary delivery driver - responsible for the morning delivery run to local customers Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of stock with excellent customer service Representing both the client and The Best Connection in a friendly, professional manner Potential for the role to become permanent based on performance The Candidate: Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence Previous delivery driving and customer service experience is essential Well-presented with a smart appearance Strong written and verbal communication skills A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction Hours of Work & Pay: Monday to Friday schedule 1 in 5 Saturdays (08:00am - 12:00pm) Daily start time from 07:30am £12.61 per hour (flat rate) Average of 44 hours per week Benefits of working with The Best Connection: Excellent pay rates 24/7 contact with consultants Pension Contributions Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Ongoing assignments Access to 'Perks at Work' temporary worker benefit scheme Suitable candidates will be invited to register online.
