Job Title: Outreach Tutor
Location: Braintree, Essex
Pay Rate: £25 per hour (via umbrella company)
Job Type: Flexible Contract | Part-Time or Full-Time
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Outreach Tutor to work with students in and around Braintree. This is a unique opportunity to provide 1:1 tuition to young people who may have special educational needs (SEN) or social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, helping them re-engage with learning in a supportive and structured way.
As an Outreach Tutor, you'll have the freedom to tailor lessons to individual learners, bridging gaps in education and boosting academic confidence. Many of the students you'll work with may have been out of formal education for some time, so a patient, nurturing approach is key.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher or experienced tutor looking to step away from the traditional classroom setting and make a lasting impact through personalised, meaningful teaching.
