Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Salary: Competitive - Dependent on experience and qualifications

Are you an experienced and compassionate HLTA with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing SEN school in Crosby, Liverpool.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people by providing targeted academic and emotional support in a vibrant and supportive setting.

About the Role:
- Support the teaching and learning of students across a range of ages and needs
- Plan and deliver small group and individual interventions under the guidance of the class teacher
- Cover lessons when required and assist in classroom management
- Support pupils with complex learning needs, social/emotional challenges, or disabilities
- Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track pupil progress

About You:
- Hold HLTA status or Level 3 equivalent relevant qualification/experience
- Experience working within a SEN or inclusive education setting
- A nurturing, resilient, and flexible approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
