As a Healthcare Assistant you will be completing daily duties including: Providing care and support for patients who are acutely mentally unwell Spending 1:1 time with patients Escorting patients off the ward Completing levels of observations with patients Engaging patients in therapeutic activities Completing physical observations and general physical checks Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to make changes in patients' care Supporting patients with their ADLs Managing difficult situations Providing support to other wards across the unit Responding to patients when they are distressed
