Title: HGV Driver / Tramping Driver HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Tramper Drivers - Evenwood
The Best Connection are recruiting for LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Tramper Drivers to support our clients busy Evenwood-based operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for tramping work with a well-established and professional business.
The Role: Nationwide deliveries and collections General haulage - curtain sider and trailer swaps Night outs required (typically 4 nights per week) No handball Clean, modern, and well-maintained vehicles The Driver: Must hold a valid LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) licence Valid CPC and DIGI Card Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience is required Previous tramping experience preferred Must be reliable, professional, and presentable Rates of Pay: £15.00 per hour - Monday to Friday (all hours worked) £30.00 per night out allowance No weekend work required Hours of Work: Monday to Friday only Start times typically between 05:00am - 07:00am Weekly tramping - return home Friday depending on workload Benefits of Working with The Best Connection: Ongoing, full-time assignments Holiday entitlement Personal accident insurance Weekly pay with online payslips Pension contribution Access to Perks at Work - retail discounts and more Registration: Candidates will be invited to register via our digital onboarding system for a quick and easy process.
