Temporary to Permanent work! Our Client is seeking experienced, dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their Peterborough Company, potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
Perfect role for someone who is self-motivated, highly organised and adaptable. Attention to detail is very important as well as the ability to work as part of a team, experience with IT based stock systems would be a distinct advantage.

Hourly Rate £12.60
Shift pattern Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities: Forklift and van driving and delivering duties in company vans maybe required Using inventory software platform, to pick and palletise outgoing goods ready for dispatch, including wrapping and labelling. Booking deliveries either with internal vans, local, national and international couriers. Receiving inbound deliveries, assessing quality of goods, and booking into stock. Carrying out spot checks and full stock takes using our inventory software as and when required, including assisting in annual stock takes. Operating equipment using forklift trucks, pallet trucks and hand held scanning devices Provide updates to customer service team regarding delivery dates. Keeping the warehouse tidy and in good condition. Understanding and ensuring all health and safety standards are always adhered to. Supporting our production team whenever necessary with picking, packing, assembling and other general duties. Qualifications and Skills: Full forklift licence Full clean driving licence Comfortable with working with stock management systems (training on specifics will be given) Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. Minimum of 2 years experience in working in a warehouse environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
