Salary: £56,454 - £59,560. Incremental progression throughout the band is available.


Contract Type: Permanent | Hours per Week: 1 FTE | Location: Multi-site


About the Role


We are seeking a dynamic and highly knowledgeable individual to be the Director of Adult Skills, Partnership and HE. Key Responsibilities will include: Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement the strategic vision for adult skills provision, Partnerships, and Higher Education programmes at SCC Group.


You will work with colleagues to develop an inclusive and ambition curriculum offer that will meet the needs of Salford and Greater Manchester residents. You will also support managers to ensure that learners receive the best possible learning experience with a focus on high quality learning experiences leading to excellent levels of attendance, retention, achievement and destinations. You will foster strong relationships with employers, community organizations, universities, and other key partners to expand collaborative opportunities, whilst at the same time ensuring compliance with funding, regulatory, and quality assurance requirements.


You will have a proven leadership experience within adult education, skills development, and Higher Education sectors, a strong track record in partnership development and stakeholder management, excellent strategic planning, communication, and influencing skills. You will have a deep understanding of funding mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and quality standards in education and will Passionate about lifelong learning and social inclusion.
