Ramsbury Primary School, near Marlborough, is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Teaching Assistant within our school.This part-time role also includes a Midday Supervisory Assistant lunch time role, supporting the supervision of pupils, either in the lunch hall or outside, during lunchtime activities.The TA role involves supporting pupils learning, either in groups or through 1:1 work. The role also includes supporting pupils’ self-esteem, inclusion and behavioural development, and to support the class teacher in the delivery of the National Curriculum.
The successful candidate will: have GCSEs at Grade B/Grade 5 or above in English and Maths have an ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults have strong organisational skills, manage time effectively and be flexible and creative hold high expectations of themselves and of the children

The role is available on a fixed-term contract for 1 year initially, working part time 08:30 - 15:30 for three days per week, term time only. We also have an additional vacancy as an After School Club Assistant, working until 17:00, should this be of interest. We have been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and we are an English Hub, just one of 34 nationwide. In these exciting times for our school, we are looking to recruit a new member of staff to join our team. We are a very successful one-form entry school situated in a lovely, thriving and supportive village, easily accessible from Swindon (20-minute drive) or East Wiltshire. Start date: 2 September 2025 End date: 31 August 2026, with the possibility of a permanent contract Salary: TA - Wiltshire Council Grade E £25,183-£25,992 FTE, £13.05-£13.47/hour (prior to the 2025/26 Pay Award) MDSA - Wiltshire Council Grade B £23,656 FTE, £12.26/hour (prior to the 2025/26 Pay Award) Contract: Part time and fixed term Closing date: Friday 27 June 2025, at midday.
