Would you like to work somewhere dedicated to supporting families? Somewhere committed to your professional development? A place of learning and development for all with great opportunities?Families First Guildford is looking for a Family Support Worker to join our team as soon as possible. The post is full time for 52 weeks a year and permanent. We will consider applicants wishing to work a minimum of 20 hours across 4 days a week.
Visits and/or phone calls to the centre are welcomed for all serious candidates. To make an appointment please call Charlotte Bate, Service Manager for Families First Guildford.Families First Guildford delivers a joined-up offer of family resilience and safeguarding services for families with children 0 – 18 years (up to 25 years to support those with additional needs), based on a clear understanding of local needs across a district and borough.
We work across the borough of Guildford with our main site at Guildford Nursery School, Hazel Avenue GU1 1NR.
We are looking for someone who is:
• Level 3 qualified in education, health and/or social care
• Positive, flexible, responsible and with a passion for working with families
• Keen to make a real impact within and beyond their own team
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work in partnership with parents and carers to reduce inequalities in children’s outcomes
• Highly motivated and able to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
A full driving licence and use of a car is required.
