A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Worker to work as part of our experienced day care team at Southmead Children’s Centre. We are a vibrant, multi-cultural and diverse nursery, looking for a practitioner who is flexible and reflective with a good sense of humour who is keen to develop and progress in their career. We want you to join us in creating a safe, warm and caring learning environment both indoors and outdoors which will inspire children to unlock their full potential.
You will be managing the care needs and education of a group of children within a key person structure, promoting good practice and setting high standards as a role model for children, parents and staff. You will work as part of a supportive team to create an exciting and positive environment where young children can thrive. You will be responsible for observing and assessing children’s development and using this to plan and implement high quality care, education and learning experiences for children in a nursery setting.
You will work in partnership with parents building trusting relationships to support their children’s learning by participating in home visits and parent consultations.
