Hours: 35 hours. Monday to Friday. Term Time OnlyA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Worker to work within our Baby Room as part of our experienced day care team at Southmead Children’s Centre. We are a vibrant, multi-cultural and diverse nursery, looking for a practitioner who has experience of working with children under the age of 2 years and is flexible and reflective with a good sense of humour. We want you to join us in creating a safe, warm and caring learning environment both indoors and outdoors which will inspire our youngest children to unlock their full potential.
You will be managing the care needs and experiences of a group of children within a key person structure, promoting good practice and setting high standards as a role model for children, parents and staff. You will work as part of a supportive team to create an exciting and positive environment where young children can thrive. You will be responsible for observing and assessing children’s development and using this to plan and implement high quality care, education and learning experiences for babies within the setting.
You will work in partnership with parents building trusting relationships to support their children’s learning by participating in home visits and parent consultations.
