Start date: 1st September 2025The Governing Body of Hirwaun Primary School are seeking to appoint two caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work in the school. Hirwaun Primary is a happy and successful Primary School with a strong caring and inclusive ethos situated in the community of Hirwaun. We currently have 303 pupils on roll. The successful Teaching Assistants will work in partnership with the teaching staff to maintain and continue to develop an innovative, dynamic and engaging learning environment. • Demonstrate excellent classroom practice with proven effective experience. • Have a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team • Are willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life • Have the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative • Are motivated, passionate and reflective about their work • Have a commitment to professional development and the skills to engage positively with all stakeholders • Have excellent interpersonal skills • Work well with the whole school community to ensure the very best experience for our children. The advertised post will be to work alongside class teachers and the applicant must be willing to work in any of the classes across the school (Nursery to year 6).
