Higher Level Teaching Assistant (including X1 TA Day)
32.5 hours per week
Fixed Term until 31/08/2026
Grade 8 (4 Days) & Grade 10 (1 Day) £23,018 to £24,860 pro rata per annum
Filton Hill Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2026. The successful candidate will work term time only plus inset days.
The total hours for this role are 32.5 hours per week which will be worked Monday to Friday, actual working hours are to be agreed with the Headteacher. Four days per week will be worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant teaching classes for PPA cover and One day per week will be worked as a Teaching Assistant supporting learners with SEND.
Please note that Four days per week will be paid at Grade 8 (HLTA rate) and One day per week will be paid at Grade 10 (TA rate).
We are looking for a kind, dedicated and considerate HLTA who will have the energy and enthusiasm to support and teach learners across all year groups. The ideal candidate will have:
• Level 2 “Supporting Teaching & Learning” in Schools or equivalent qualification
• To be able to meet national standards for HLTA’s based on previous experience, training and qualification
• Experience of working with pupils in a range of year groups.
• Maths & English at GCSE grade 4 or above or equivalent qualification
