Position description / Job description
- Provide individualized academic support to students with autism and Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs).
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Guide students towards academic success through mentoring and individualized instruction.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.
- Utilize educational technologies to enhance learning and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Expectations / Requirements
We're looking for you, if:
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You possess a passion for student success and a commitment to inclusive education.
- You are proficient in utilizing educational technologies.
- You have a relevant educational background (preferred, but not essential).
- You are willing to complete the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules (support provided).
- Experience working with students with autism or SPLDs is desirable but not essential.
