Role: Evening Care Assistant
Shifts: Monday - Thu 1615-2200 / Sun 1000-1700
Rate: £16 per hour
Location: BH20, Wareham
Job Type: Part Time
The Role
You will be supporting a non-verbal young female service user in her mid-Teens who has a PEG and requires support with Suctioning and other complex care needs. Attentive and communicative personalities will succeed in this role, in turn promoting the independence of our service users.
Activities will include playing board games/ puzzles, watching TV, socialising with her friends and family, going for long walks, but most importantly, suggesting or supporting new ideas and opportunities that serve the service users' best interests, by going above and beyond. Our Service user wants to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and have a structured routine in order to keep her safe and effective at all times.
Requirements
- 6 Months experience in a care focused role.
- A right to work in the UK
- Experience with Ventilator, Epilepsy and Medication Administration. Please remove this, these are desirable but not essential, they're easy things to train the staff on
- Outgoing bubbly attitude!
