Have you got experience of working with the under 5’s?
Lancaster Methodist Church wish to appoint a new leader for Little Pebbles. This is a successful toddler group for children before they start school, all children are accompanied by an adult. We aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment with space for the children to play, adults to chat, for storytime and song.
The Leader will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating a welcoming, stimulating, safe environment for children and their responsible adult/s.
Each session provides the children with opportunities to play and meet new friends in a spacious, carpeted, welcoming building. There are a wide range of toys and activities to engage them, including role play, jigsaws, books, small world and construction toys. At the end of each morning there is time to share a simple story and sing together. This appointment is part of Lancaster Methodist Church and applicants must understand the place that Little Pebbles has within the mission and ministry of the church and be sympathetic to it.
We are an equal opportunities employer, but the role requires a sympathy with the aims and ethos of the Methodist Church. Please note - the post is subject to obtaining a satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) disclosure.
Salary: £12.60 per hour
