What you'll be doing
• Schedule and manage day to day permit applications on confirm system.
• Managing requests for early starts / extensions/ data variation’s required for permits.
• Liaise with Supervisors Agents for updates and ensure recording timely starts, stops on permits to avoid any FPN’s.
• Review Causeway (One Network) to ensure Network Availability when planning works to avoid any conflicts, or potential collaboration with Balfour Beatty schemes / Utilities.
• Review Jobs on confirm to ensure accurate information on works description & location so reflects correctly on permits. Along with checking any plans uploaded to confirm to ensure extent of works are covered under the current location provided.
Who we're looking for
• Ability to prioritise a varied workload with demonstrating good time management and comply to deadlines with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written with ability to deal with difficult situations.
• Ability to understand needs and provide solutions to problems.
• Ability to work on their own initiative and be able to schedule workload to meet priorities.
• Understanding of the Business Management Systems and processes.
• Demonstrable experience of reviewing and implementing safe systems of work.
PERSONAL QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE
• Team player who knows how to build and sustain relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Adaptable to changing situations.
• Demonstrable computing skills.
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
• Experience in the use of Confirm including Workzone.
• Experience of working on a Highways Maintenance Contract.
• Experience in a construction environment.
• Understanding of NRSWA compliance procedures.
