Join a High-Energy Kitchen Team as a Kitchen Assistant
Are you passionate about kitchen work and eager to step into a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We’re offering a fantastic
opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team, where your contribution will ensure the smooth running of our kitchen
operations and excellent customer service. No two shifts will be the same, and your efforts will be crucial in maintaining the
high standards we pride ourselves on.
Working within our kitchen team, you’ll assist in a variety of tasks, from food preparation to plating to keeping the place
spotless. If you have a can-do attitude, enjoy teamwork, and thrive in a busy environment, we’d love to hear from you!
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Assist with routine food prep tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
* Support the chef during busy periods to ensure efficient service continuity.
* Plate meals with precision, maintaining high standards even at peak times.
* Ensure mandatory training, including Skillgate compliance, is completed and up to date.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and storage areas.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, including HACCP and COSHH protocols.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
ESSENTIAL:
* Ability to stand for long hours in a busy kitchen environment.
* Good organisational skills and the capacity to multitask effectively.
* Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining focus and efficiency.
* Calm and patient approach to handling high-pressure situations.
* A strong interest in kitchen work and enthusiasm for contributing to a team-focused atmosphere.
DESIRABLE:
* Basic training or experience in a professional kitchen setting.
* Familiarity with stock control and food hygiene standards.
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced food service environment.
