We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated FacilitiesEngineering Lead to take a lead role in managing mechanical and electrical (M&E) operations, contractor control, and facilities maintenance at a dynamic client site. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop your career in a fast-paced facilities environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the on-site M&E team
- Manage contractor access, documentation, RAMS, and permit-to-work processes
- Oversee and coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and quoted works
- Ensure site safety, compliance, and adherence to all relevant regulations and procedures
- Maintain effective documentation, reporting, and contractor performance reviews
- Liaise with the facilities coordinator to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of works
- Support and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements
- Ensure proper use and logging within CAFAM (Maximo) system
- Work closely with the Health & Safety team to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications such as HVAC, PMP, IFMA, CFM, or relevant compliance training are desirable
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Proven experience in contractor management, safety compliance, and permit-to-work systems
- Strong decision-making, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience in preventive maintenance and equipment reliability management
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving site demands
