We are seeking a skilled Agricultural / Golf Machinery Technician to join our team in Stockport, Cheshire. We also welcome applications from experienced plant machinery fitters and motor vehicle mechanics.
Role Purpose:
You will report directly to the Service Director and be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with the machinery sold by our sales departments, primarily at Golf Clubs and Premiership Football Clubs.
Essential Skills / Experience:
You should possess knowledge of both domestic and professional garden machinery, compact tractors, and golf course maintenance equipment. The ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults is essential. You must be capable of working independently using your initiative as well as collaboratively within a team. A good general appearance and excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone, are required. Self-motivation is key.
Additional Information:
Start Date: Immediate, subject to the notice period of successful candidates. Hours: 40 hours per week, from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime beyond 40 hours per week will be compensated at time and a half.
Contract:
This is a permanent, full-time position with hourly pay. We provide continual training, 25 days of holiday, overtime opportunities, and a pension plan.
