Kind Tailored Care Ltd are looking for an experienced self-motivated Deputy Manager to join our family circle. The successful candidate will need to be competent in all aspects of social care, leadership and management. The desirable candidate will either hold a level 5 in leadership, management and adult care or be working towards this. You will play a key role in supporting our team with the vision set out by our CEO and Founder, ensuring our services are always tailored to meet the needs of the individuals we support with the right kind of care being provided.

Kind tailored care is a community-based service who are proudly registered with the CQC and CIW in England and Wales. We specialise in providing compassionate care and support to our service users, who we like to call “loved ones”. We do this within the comfort of our loved one’s own homes or safe environment, guided by our experienced experts. Everyone at Kind tailored care is dedicated to making a meaningful difference to the families we serve.

Key Responsibilities

 Support the manager with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running.
 Taking the full lead to support the staff when the manager is out of the business on any form of absence.
 Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to.
 Motivate and supervise staff members.
 Sharing the responsibility for fostering a culture of excellence by recruiting, training and developing staff members within your team.
 Work closely and in partnership with multidisciplinary teams, PBS leads, and all other professionals to ensure our loved one’s live a quality of life they deserve.
 Assist with the lead of new referrals, assessments and transitions while contributing to developing and implementing a tailored vision and strategy for each individual service provided.
 Build strong relationships with families and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes, by delivering outstanding high quality person tailored care to all.
 Assist with overseeing the day-to-day operations of our CIW regulated services, ensuring the greatest standards of care and quality compliance, while also maintaining and improving our high CIW ratings.
 Assist with carrying out company quality audits, and provide staff support and direction through supervision, team meetings, spot checks and debriefs.
 Regular upkeep of your continued professional development.

Skills and Competencies:

 Strong leadership and management skills.
 Comprehensive knowledge of CIW standards and related legislation.
 Excellent communicator, with the ability to adapt communication to a variation of people and their individual needs.
 The ability to work under pressure, alone and within a large team environment.
 The ability to be flexible, resilient with a proactive approach to any challenges.
 Full UK driving licence required, you will be required to travel and work field based as and when required to meet the demands of the business.
 Fully Enhanced DBS required.
