We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented UI and UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, engaging, and accessible interfaces for our blockchain-based web application, www.reportwaste.co.uk. This platform plays a key role in transforming waste reporting and compliance through innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design user-centric wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows using Figma that align with business and user requirements.

Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to translate design concepts into responsive, accessible, and scalable interfaces.

Conduct usability testing, analyse user feedback, and iterate designs to improve performance, accessibility (WCAG standards), and user satisfaction.

Ensure consistency in design elements, brand adherence, and best practices in UI/UX across the application.

Contribute to the product roadmap and participate in sprint planning by providing design input and estimating effort.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Strong portfolio demonstrating previous work in web UI/UX design, including wireframes and interactive prototypes.

Proficient in Figma.

Experience designing responsive web interfaces and working closely with frontend and backend developers.

Understanding of HTML/CSS fundamentals and accessibility standards is highly desirable.

Experience working on blockchain or environmental/sustainability-related platforms is an advantage.
