Plumber Opportunities – Join Our Award-Winning Water Efficiency Team
Delivery across the South East Water delivery areas (Basingstoke & Tunbridge Wells) | Fixed-Term Contract until 31st March 2026
£29,000 per annum plus benefits | 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm

Groundwork South is recruiting skilled Plumbers to join our nationally recognised Water Efficiency Team, working on essential projects in water-stressed areas across the South of England. Our wide range of clients include football stadiums, army barracks, schools and colleges, leisure centres, and holiday parks.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in reducing water waste by repairing and maintaining internal plumbing systems such as taps, toilets, valves, and overflows—working exclusively with fresh water systems in commercial and educational buildings.

Who We're Looking For
We’re seeking qualified, hands-on professionals with great people skills and a passion for environmental sustainability.

Essential:
• City & Guilds Plumbing Domestic Heating (6189) or equivalent Level 2/3 NVQ
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Proficient with digital tools – e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, iPad/tablets
• Experience in manual trades or home repair
• Strong communication skills – able to engage a diverse customer base
• Practical problem-solving ability
• Awareness of energy efficiency and water-saving practices
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
