We are a friendly practice looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual. The post will predominantly be an admin role but will include some reception work and other duties.
Main responsibilities to include;
• General admin duties including scanning and read coding
• Helping patients with queries on the telephone or face to face
• Front of house customer service and signposting
• Booking appointments
This is a very busy practice with 9 doctors, Registrars, medical students and attached staff. With over 10,000 patients this can make the role challenging at times. The successful candidate will be able to cope well under pressure, prioritise and think on their feet. We are looking for someone who is comfortable using different IT systems, has excellent customer service skills and an enthusiasm to learn. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, although full training will be given.
We offer 25 days annual leave (pro rota) and membership of the NHS Pension Scheme.
