Workshop Technician (144lw) – Electrical/Mechanical - Sussex - £30,000.00- £32,000 + Benefits

Our client, who deliver a comprehensive selection of products and practical solutions in the landscaping, ground maintenance, fleet management, agriculture and farming, across the UK and Ireland, are looking for a Workshop Technician, well suited to someone with an electrical/mechanical background.

Job Overview
Responsible for all machinery regarding routine maintenance, electrical, brakes, engine performance, hydraulic performance. Performed machinery diagnosis, brakes, A/C inspection and repairs, hydraulic diagnosis, electrical diagnosis. Carrying out warranty work and repairs along with routine machinery servicing.

Responsibilities include
Identifies mechanical/Hydraulic/Electrical problems visually and/or with computer diagnostic equipment.
Performs tests on specific parts and systems to determine whether they are operating properly.
Performs routine and preventive maintenance, servicing on customer machines & internal demo and refurbishment machinery.
Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems.
Conducts post-repair testing and diagnostics.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Carry out cutting unit regrinding.
Housekeeping in workshop, yard & warehouse.
To attend product and technical training events related to technical service and personal development training, as required.
