We are working closely alongside with Royal Holloway University of London to assist with the appointment of a Chef De Partie, on a 2-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £15.85 - £20.18 per hour

Summary:

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring the implementation of health, safety, and food hygiene standards. The postholder will contribute to recipe development, support inventory and cost control, provide training to junior kitchen staff, and help maintain an efficient, compliant, and customer-focused kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and cleanliness standards (HACCP/COSHH).
Monitor ingredient usage and control portion sizes to minimize costs.
Select and source quality ingredients to support innovation in food offerings.
Promptly respond to and report any safety incidents or hazards.
Qualifications:

Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2)
Health & Safety Certificate (Level 2)
Knowledge of HACCP principles
General education to GCSE level
Essentials:

Experience as a Trainee or Commis Chef in a professional kitchen environment
Strong culinary and food preparation skills

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an Basic DBS
