Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to a pending pay award. The final salary will be adjusted in line with the nationally agreed pay award.


We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and empowering individual with the skills, qualities and experience to design and deliver a range of opportunities aimed at young people in schools and communities in Ceredigion.


As a Youth Worker, you will support young people to explore and understand their ideas, values and beliefs, building their confidence, self-esteem and life skills so that they can make a successful transition to adulthood.


Youth Work relies on voluntary engagement, and you will need to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect in order to support and empower young people from all backgrounds. Applicants should be passionate about young people’s rights, and confident in leading Youth Work support, intervention, projects and activities.


The post holder will have opportunities to work collaboratively to develop and deliver various targeted early intervention and preventative activities with other teams and external organisations.
