Crynodeb
Ensuring structures and systems are in place around sexual safety.Provide professional advice and leadership to all aspects of safeguarding, public protection, with a focus on sexual safety.Close working relationships with partnership agencies.Develop sexual safety strategies in line with national guidance and ensure these are embedded within the Trust.Provide sexual safety leadership and advice to staff across the Trust.Responsible for ensuring the Trust achieves full compliance against local and national standards.Identifying gaps in knowledge and training needs.Represent the organisation on sexual safety matters, working with all relevant statutory and non statutory agencies.Ensure the patient and carer voices are heard. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
