Summary
Performing screening and diagnostic mammography at both static and mobile units in accordance with national and local protocols. Assisting in interventional breast procedures such as core biopsies and localisations, including preparation of equipment and patient support. Ensuring the safe and effective use of imaging equipment, identifying faults, and taking appropriate action when necessary. Promoting and maintaining high standards of clinical practice, professionalism, and patient care in line with NHS policies and radiation safety regulations. Actively participating in training, professional development, staff meetings, and sharing knowledge gained through courses to improve service quality. Supervising junior staff and students, supporting multidisciplinary teamwork, and contributing to service delivery through operational duties and departmental collaboration.
