A Full time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this wonderful family in Kenley, London to help them in looking after their charming toddler and school-aged child. The ideal person will genuinely enjoy working with children, be confident in supporting early years development and school readiness, and be happy to help with household tasks. The role includes all general childcare and housekeeping duties. There may be occasional travel involved, although this is yet to be confirmed. The family values reliability, energy, and a proactive approach. A driver is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car.
Someone who could speak the German language is a bonus but they can consider English speakers. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 9:00 am then return at 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 41.5 hours per week
Duties include:
Assisting the children with their bath time routine
Dressing the children and ensuring they are appropriately clothed
Feeding the children and cleaning up after each meal
Taking the children to playdates and social activities
Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities
Playing with the children and encouraging creativity and learning
Helping older children with homework and school tasks
Ensuring the children are always happy, safe, and well cared for
Changing nappies and supporting the little one with potty/toilet training
Teaching basic life skills, including hygiene, manners, and independence
Managing general household tasks and upkeep
Cooking meals for the family as needed
Keeping the toilet and bathroom clean and hygienic
Running errands and handling grocery shopping
Organising cupboards and regularly changing bed linens
They are looking for someone to hire in July 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
