Allstaff Office Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Cash office / Customer Services Agent (part time) for manufacturing company based in Renfrew.
This position is initially 3 days per week (24 Hours) to suit the needs of the business flexible to cover holidays and busy periods.
Cash office:
Manage daily duties in a secure environment
Collect, record, and maintain accurate customer and payment detail
Provide accurate and valid information in response to all customer queries.
Manage and resolve customer complaints
Undertake a variety of administrative tasks
Cash Office assist customers in a friendly manner with a customer service focus, Update customer account
with transaction details, ensure all monetary transactions are accurately recorded.
Count large cash sums quickly and accurately both manually and via automated counter, identifying any
fraudulent currency, completes all banking transaction documentation and prepare cash etc for Securicor
collection,
Complete reconciliations for Cash Office when on a closing shift, ensures all money is kept securely on-site
until collection.
The Customer Services Agents are a key point of contact for customers. Core duties include:
Manage incoming and outgoing calls with a professional telephone manner
Collect, record, and maintain accurate customer and order details
Provide accurate and valid information in response to all customer queries.
Manage and resolve customer complaints
Undertake a variety of administrative tasks
Develop stock and product knowledge to assist with customer queries and order process
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in customer service and cash office. Have excellent listening and communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong service focus. You will also be confident working both autonomously and as part of a supportive team. Microsoft outlook/email skills are essential.
This is a part time position of three days per week, with normal office hours of 8.30 am to 5 pm. Flexibility in working hours to meet customer demand and ability to work additional hours on occasions to cover team holidays is also essential.
Schedule: Flexible 3 days out of 5, including Saturday / Sunday cover for holidays. (approx. 5 weekends per year) Shifts will be confirmed approximately 6 weeks in advance.
Salary: £15238 pa (for 24 hours)
