Our client is a small, friendly engineering company based in the Framlingham area looking for a Fabrication Machine Operator to join their growing team. This is a permanent position offering a varied and hands-on role within a supportive and skilled environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Operating a laser cutting machine
• Working on a press brake
• Carrying out other tasks such as drilling and tapping
• Assisting in general sheet metal fabrication
• Supporting other areas of the workshop as required
What we’re looking for:
• Experience of working with sheet metal in a fabrication environment
• Previous experience of working on laser cutting or press brake machines is a bonus
• A willingness to learn and take on new tasks
• A positive attitude and good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a tight-knit team
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or continue their career in fabrication within a relaxed but professional workshop environment. Pay £13-15 p/h depending on experience. Hours of work 7.30am-4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
