We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Little Stars Day Nursery in the role of Early Years Practitioner. If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!

About the role

We are seeking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking full and relevant level 3 Early Years Practitioner for 40 hours per week term time only. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children from birth to five years’ old and enhancing their learning and development. The person will need to be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a large setting along with a lovely caring personality, prioritising workloads and managing tasks. You must be able to safeguard children and promote their welfare at all times.

About the person

The suitable candidate must hold at least a level 3 qualification in early years, which is full and relevant. A safeguarding qualification is desirable as is, SEN training, paediatric first aid, health & safety and food hygiene. You will have knowledge of the new early years frameworks and birth to five framework alongside knowledge and understanding of theories and principles relating to child development.

Having experience of working with children aged birth to five in a childcare environment is essential whilst being able to recognise and act upon concerns of children needing additional support. You should have professionalism in everything you do.
