We are working closely alongside a Housing Charity in Croydon to assist with the appointment of a Service Charge Analyst, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £21.92 - £28.04 per hour

Summary:

Reporting to the Service Charge Manager, the Service Charge Analyst plays a key role in the accurate and efficient delivery of estimated and actualised service charges. You will ensure legal and policy compliance, focus on complex cases, and deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service to service charge payers. Youll also support continuous improvement in service charge processes and contribute to building resilience across the service charge setting team.

Responsibilities:

Accurately calculate, construct, and issue all estimated and actual service charges.
Ensure service charges comply with contractual agreements, policies, procedures, and statutory deadlines.
Focus on complex or disputed cases requiring analytical rigour and attention to detail.
Deliver expert and customer-focused service charge support.Respond to and resolve complex queries from residents, including complaints and disputes.
Requirements:

Significant experience in residential and/or commercial service charge analysis.
Sound understanding of service charge legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), able to explain complex charges clearly to non-technical audiences.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent numerical and financial acumen.
High-level customer service skills, especially in handling complaints or disputes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant housing/finance systems.
