Crynodeb
There will be an induction period where competencies will be identified and appropriate training plan agreed. We will accept applications from Dietitians who do not have Paediatric experienceas long as they have suitable previous clinical experience for the post and transferable Dietetic skills. The department offers all three Dietetic student training placements as well as Dietitian Apprenticeship training. The post holder will be expected to be involved in clinical teaching and assessment of Dietetic students on their placement so therefore previous student training experience is desirable. As we are a teaching hospital the post holder would also be expected to support medical, nursing and other health profession students as well. East Lancashire has good transport links to Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and beyond and we are close to the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The post holder would be expected to work across the sites and localities of East Lancashire so the post would suit a car driver/owner.
