Head Chef – Bolton

Salary: £30,000
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6.30am – 2.30pm

Dine has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Head Chef to join our catering team in Bolton. If you\\'re a creative culinary professional with strong leadership and a love for food, this is your chance to shine!

This is a hands-on cooking role responsible for delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced workplace environment with a weekday-only service (no weekends or Christmas working!).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure meals are nutritious, tasty, and prepared using the recipe database

  • Work only with nominated suppliers and store ingredients appropriately

  • Apply daily company financial controls

  • Monitor portion sizes, reduce waste, and ensure accurate transaction recording

  • Guarantee food is fresh and ready for all service times

  • Propose service improvements and support the Manager in enhancing customer experience

  • Support training and development of team members alongside the Manager

  • Maintain high hygiene standards, ensure PPE usage, and keep logs and records up to date

  • Report incidents, equipment failures, and ensure allergen info is provided daily

  • Label and present food to brand standards, complete required training, and ensure team compliance

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about food and up to date with culinary trends
  • Holds a culinary qualification
  • Has strong knowledge of GP, menu planning, kitchen management, and ordering
  • Can lead by example in a kitchen environment
  • Understands food hygiene and safety regulations
