Head Chef – Bolton
Salary: £30,000
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6.30am – 2.30pm
Dine has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Head Chef to join our catering team in Bolton. If you\\'re a creative culinary professional with strong leadership and a love for food, this is your chance to shine!
This is a hands-on cooking role responsible for delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced workplace environment with a weekday-only service (no weekends or Christmas working!).
Key Responsibilities
Ensure meals are nutritious, tasty, and prepared using the recipe database
Work only with nominated suppliers and store ingredients appropriately
Apply daily company financial controls
Monitor portion sizes, reduce waste, and ensure accurate transaction recording
Guarantee food is fresh and ready for all service times
Propose service improvements and support the Manager in enhancing customer experience
Support training and development of team members alongside the Manager
Maintain high hygiene standards, ensure PPE usage, and keep logs and records up to date
Report incidents, equipment failures, and ensure allergen info is provided daily
Label and present food to brand standards, complete required training, and ensure team compliance
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about food and up to date with culinary trends
- Holds a culinary qualification
- Has strong knowledge of GP, menu planning, kitchen management, and ordering
- Can lead by example in a kitchen environment
- Understands food hygiene and safety regulations
