About Us: SM Cars is a dynamic and fast growing transport company dedicated to excellence in home to school transport. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our office environment.

Job Summary:The Office Manager will oversee daily office operations, support administrative functions, and maintain an efficient and productive workplace. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of handling multiple tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate office operations and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Oversee office supplies inventory and procurement.

Assist in scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating company events.

Liaison between drivers, and PAs.

Handle basic HR responsibilities, including onboarding new employees and maintaining records.

Provide administrative support to senior management as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and our in-house software (training will be provided).

Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills, people management and attention to detail.

A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work independently.

Due to the nature of the role involving contact with children, the successful applicant must complete an enhanced DBS check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum Becholars Degree (experience in the transportation sector would be beneficial).
