About the Role

We are seeking a full-time ICT / Computer Science Teacher for a secondary school in Leeds starting June 2025, ready to take students on a journey through the digital landscape. You will teach a mix of ICT and Computer Science, preparing students for further education and the digital workforce.

Essential Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum for ICT/Computing
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging ICT/Computing lessons
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4
  • Mark and assess students' work
  • Prepare students for GCSE exams
  • Differentiate lessons to cater to varying needs
  • Monitor and track student progress
  • Create innovative lesson resources
  • Collaborate with staff on cross-curricular projects
  • Uphold school safeguarding procedures
  • Supervise students during ICT club or extra-curriculum
