This post is available from 1st August on a fixed term for 24 months in the first instance. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours).
Qualifications, experience and competencies
Candidates should hold a BSc in Biological Sciences or related subject area (or be near to completion of such). Successful candidates will have previous experience in molecular cell biology and demonstrable skills in data analysis. Previous experience in growth, genetic manipulation and cell biology of trypanosomes (or transferable experience from other systems) and/or in genomic methods including Next-Generation DNA Sequencing and multiplexed-library sample production is desirable but not essential.

Shortlisting of candidates will be completed within 1 week of close of applications, with interviews to follow within 2 weeks after that. The closing date is 10th July and interviews are scheduled to held on 18th July.
Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role
