Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)

Whalley Range, Manchester – M16 8HW
Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm | On-call: 1 weekend per month

Are you a passionate and experienced leader ready to take the reins of a well-established 4-bed EBD children’s home?
We’re looking for a strong and resilient Registered Manager to drive standards, build a united team, and deliver high-quality care and outcomes for the young people in our care.

Our home, located in Whalley Range, Manchester, currently supports two young people and requires a confident, capable leader to create a positive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop and motivate a staff team within a challenging but rewarding environment


  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and drive outstanding standards of care


  • Support the emotional, behavioural, and social development of young people with EBD


  • Strengthen team culture and rebuild cohesion within a currently divided staff team


    Requirements:
    • Experience managing an Ofsted-regulated EBD residential home (3+ beds or dual registration preferred)


    • Consideration for experienced Deputy Managers with a stable track record (not candidates who’ve frequently changed roles)


    • Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or over 50% completed)


    • Full UK driving licence essential


    • Proven ability in team building and strong leadership skills
