The Southfield Multi Academy Trust consists of four outstanding special schools across six sites;
South Downs School, The Lindfield School, Hazel Court School and Summerdown School.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to come in to the new role of Assistant to the Director of Operations. You will assist and support with all operational aspects of the Trust, ensuring that our schools are managed efficiently and effectively. This includes facilities management and asset maintenance, capital projects, compliance, health and safety and strategic planning, to support the delivery of high-quality education and care to our students. Your ability to work closely with the Director of Operations will be key in helping us meet our mission of transforming the lives of children with special educational needs.
About You
Proven track record in previous administration or assistant roles.
Outstanding organisational skills
Excellent Office 365 skills - including Office Calendar, Excel and SharePoint.
Experience of compliance and regulatory requirements, especially within the education or special needs sector.
Experience in Health & Safety and / or willingness to undertake CPD in this area.
Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
A passion for supporting children and young people with special needs and a commitment to improving educational outcomes.
