Job Purpose:Are you supportive, sociable, and passionate about helping others thrive? I'm looking for two friendly and understanding Personal Assistants to help me build confidence, develop friendships, and enjoy social and leisure activities.
I’m a creative and friendly lady with Asperger’s and epilepsy who wants to grow socially, gain independence, and connect with others. While I sometimes find social interactions challenging, I’m eager to meet new people, take part in group activities, and build lasting friendships—with your support!

This role is offered on a job share basis, I am looking for two PAs to support me.
Location: Hoveton
Details:
- Encouraging and assisting me in attending social and leisure activities like bowling, cinema, crafting, shopping, the gym, city outings – this will include weekend and evening events.
- Supporting me in attending nightclubs, dancing, and live music—helping me feel at ease in lively social settings.
- Helping me navigate public transport and taxis so I can access the community more confidently.
- Being a friendly companion who supports me in making and maintaining friendships.
- Assisting in planning activities that feel enjoyable and accessible.
- Providing reassurance and advocacy when needed so I feel understood and confident

Essential:
- Friendly, patient, and supportive with a positive attitude.
- Trustworthy, reliable and able to provide consistent support.

- Confident in advocating on my behalf when necessary.
- Comfortable in social settings.
- Experience of working with individuals with Asperger’s and epilepsy.
- The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour
- Hours and times of work: Variable/flexible 38 hours per week (to be shared between 2 PAs) – will include evenings and weekends.
- Free Flick Learning training available.
- Should this job role include any of the following duties: food preparation, moving & handling, chemical handling (general household cleaning products) or the handling of medication, you will be required to undertake mandatory training.
- A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period.
