Our client based in South Leicester are looking for a Production Technician to start immediately in a permanent role. This company specialise in the production of high-performance digital readout systems (DRO) and linear feedback encoders. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 17.00 and Friday 08.00 - 13.00. This role pays £28-30k per year and offers excellent working conditions within a forward thinking people focused company.
General Responsibilities Production equipment maintenance and calibration Hands on testing of new production equipment Modifying work instructions and procedures for production Support production with technical support Participate in the organisation of goods inwards inspection and compile reports of measurements taken Input other Quality Assurance tasks Experience / Qualifications Understanding of electrical/electronic fault finding. Use of multi-meters and or Oscilloscopes Relevant work experience within a practical electrical engineering environment Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and demands Strong communication skills, oral, written and presentation Robust organisation, planning and time management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Willingness to learn new skills Fault finding skills to fix custom machinery Interpreting engineering drawings, BOM s and build documentation For more information call 01162512363 and ask for Lee, Simon or Rosie.
