***Accounts assistant - Glossop - 37.5 hours a week - £12.86ph (Long term contract)***
Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant in the Glossop area who thrives on accuracy and has a steady, organised approach to their work. This role is key to keeping our financial processes running smoothly. Youll be an essential part of the finance team, primarily handling purchase ledger tasks so someone with a good understanding of processing invoices. Hours of work: The core hours are 9:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday (start and finish times can flex round that as long as it's a 7.5 hour day!)
Pay: £12.86 per hour
Main duties: Processing and reconciling customer/vendor invoices Efficiently handle all customer/vendor queries within efficient timelines and offer high quality service Ensure efficient credit control Perform daily bank reconciliations Cover additional, ad hoc tasks as required Requirements: Proven experience in a similar finance role Strong understanding of invoicing, payment terms, and debt collection processes Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Confident communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to liaise with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines Key traits:
