Job Title: Production Assembler
Location: Stockport
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Hourly Pay Rate - £12.21 to £13.50 per hour dependant on experience, with higher rates on overtime.
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves light mechanical and electrical assembly, including wire preparation and crimping. You will work as part of a dedicated team to build, test, and package products to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities Assemble, test, and package products accurately and efficiently. Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor or Manager. Carry out light mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wire preparation and crimping. Accurately complete relevant documentation (e.g. test results, packaging details). Maintain a clean and organised working area. Report any issues or suggest improvements to assembly processes. Adhere to health and safety policies and quality assurance systems.
What Were Looking For Good attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks to a high standard. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve processes. Team player with good communication skills. Previous experience in a similar assembly or production role is advantageous but not essential. Working Hours & Overtime Standard hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday) Overtime may be required at peak times: Weekday overtime paid at Time & ½ (typically until 6:00 PM) Saturday overtime paid at Time & ½ (minimum 4 hours)
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Overtime Available
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
