Job Title: Fabrication OperativeLocation: Milton KeynesPay Rate: £12.77 per hourContract: 3-Month Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)Start Date: 01/07/2025We are currently recruiting for a Fabrication Operative to join our client’s growing team in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong fabrication and assembly experience to join a supportive and skilled team. The initial contract is for 3 months, but for the right candidate, there is real potential to move into a permanent role.Key Responsibilities:Assemble modular metal frames using company-supplied componentsFollow detailed technical drawings to ensure accurate buildsOperate fabrication tools and machinery safely and effectivelyWork with metric measurements and maintain high levels of accuracyLift and manoeuvre heavy materials as part of the assembly processTroubleshoot and solve problems that may arise during fabricationMaintain a clean and organised work areaEnsure quality control and attention to detail throughout all stages of productionIdeal Candidate Will Have:Proven experience reading and interpreting technical drawingsStrong metric and numeric skillsHands-on experience using fabrication tools and machineryGood physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materialsA proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilitiesHigh attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workAbility to work well both independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer:£12.77 per hour, paid weeklyFull-time hours (day shift)Opportunity to secure a permanent position based on performance and team fitSupportive working environment with on-the-job trainingStart date: 01/07/2025If you’re a reliable and skilled fabricator looking for your next opportunity, apply today and take the first step toward joining a team that values quality, initiative, and collaboration.
