An exciting opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive team of specialist physiotherapists and assistants. The post is varied, and you will be working between musculoskeletal outpatients / hydrotherapy and adult inpatient orthopaedics (weekend rota).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person with relevant experience. Good communication skills are essential and the ability to work with people as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Your role will have clinical and non-clinical duties including:
• Assisting the physiotherapists with musculoskeletal outpatient rehabilitation and with the management of patients referred for hydrotherapy, including individual patients and taking classes.
• Cleaning / maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and treatment areas and stock maintenance.
• Administrative support duties such as making patient appointments, data entry, photocopying, filing, scanning and managing email correspondence to the department.

Within the physiotherapy department you will be supported by experienced senior staff. There is an active in service training programme and continued professional development is viewed as integral to providing quality patient care.
